If you need counsel about some matter that has suddenly happened to you,
then begin by exposing it to the spontaneity of the young,
for surely their minds are sharper, and their intuition is quicker;
then after that refer it to the judgement of those who are mature and old,
so that they can analyse it, and decide what is best for it,
for surely they are the most experienced.

Daca ai nevoie de un sfat in legatura cu un lucru care ti s-a intamplat,
atunci incepe prin a il expune spontaneitatii celor tineri,
caci cu siguranta mintile lor sunt mai ascutite, iar intuitia lor e mai rapida;
apoi trimite (sfatul) spre judecata celor maturi si in varsta,
pentru ca ei sa il poata analiza si hotari ce e mai bine,
caci cu siguranta ei sunt cei mai experimentati.
